Mission:

In accordance with the mission of the Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries, we actively and impartially participate in building and strengthening our community through access to community information and the provision of information services.

Vision:

We envision that through regular updating and maintenance of a local human services database, we can provide the Cambridge and North Dumfries community with a single point of access for information on community human services. Our multi-channel model including phone, print and Internet service delivery integrated through our human services database will allow all members of our community to access human services information and decrease barriers to accessing information and resources.

Goals:

• To facilitate access to services
• To decrease barriers to accessing community services and resources
• To link community members with accurate, available and appropriate services that meet their needs
• To utilize data collected for the purposes of social planning, community reports, program development, outreach and advocacy
• To adhere to information standards set out by AIRS/InformCanada
