For Community Information Cambridge and North Dumfries, 2007 will be a year of transition and development. We are currently maintaining our information line and distributing our 2006/2007 printed directory. Short term future plans include purchasing a new software database, recruiting and training staff and taking all necessary steps to ensure that InformCanada’s standards of technology and service delivery are met. We will also be conducting focus groups with community agencies to determine their information needs. Our longer term goals include expanding information on existing agencies in Cambridge and North Dumfries, further development of the website including an online searchable database and community calendar, and the inclusion of more North Dumfries organizations in the database.
