Vision Statement: We envision a healthy community for Cambridge and North Dumfries where the SPC fosters social and community change through informing and developing relationships as well as conducting social planning efforts. This leads to gaps and action steps being identified and useable knowledge being developed and implemented

The Social Planning Council of Cambridge and North Dumfries promotes the "democratization of
data" to build a healthy community with active citizens involved in multi-sector networks and accessible
organizations that work together. The role of the SPC is to collect, analyze and openly share data on:
community trends; demographics (current and projections) and best practices (local and beyond).

- Community: The SPC is grounded in Cambridge and North Dumfries supporting local voices, conducting ongoing research, developing relationships and networks, fostering inclusiveness and facilitating community building. At times, the SPC is called upon to act as a voice for Cambridge and North Dumfries.
